Ginger Brown Sugar Tau Fu Fah

Posted by: CK Lam   in Bayan Lepas, Dessert, Drinks, Penang

Tau Fu Fah is usually served with a choice of clear sugar syrup or gula melaka syrup. Our friend, Dr Alex Lim introduced us to this dessert taken with ginger brown sugar syrup!!!

Strips of ginger are cooked together with the brown sugar. This syrup gives the tau fu fah a slightly gingery taste.

The texture of the tau fu fah is very smooth and delicious. This, together with soyabean milk and other juices are sold by Soya King, which is beside Jusco food court in Queensbay Mall.

The tau fu fah is quite normal but the goodies lies in the ginger brown sugar syrup.
My hubby had the soyabean milk with this syrup too and it tasted good.

Wah, not bad. I never thought of giving them a try because I only believe in road side’s soy bean milk.

There are a few road side stalls selling tasty soya bean milk but I still haven’t came across one that serves it with ginger brown sugar.
Give it a try lo….

little inbox,
ginger brown sugar surprisingly goes very well with tau fu fah. Head over and treat yourself a bowl.

Have you tried the Tau Fu Fah at U-Soya which is located at Pekaka Building? The shop serves Tau Fu Fah with a variety of Topping. The ones with Chocolate Chips and Sunflower Seeds are my favourite. =)
