You Tiao spread with kaya & butter

Besides having the longest crullers, Mr Tan also makes the Black & White Sesame Twins. This version reminds me of the Ma Keok that is commonly sold in Kuala Lumpur. They are topped with black and white sesame seed and cost RM2 for three delicious pieces.

The Ma Keok would puff up and float in the oil

Besides that savory You Tiao, Mr Tan provides an excellent spread of sweet selections. We also sampled some of the Honey Butter and Peanut Butter fillings, and in my opinion, a very nice twist to the usual You Tiao!
