Finally, with all the appetizers out of the way, main course was served! First up was the Lemon Butter Fish served with lemon cream sauce – RM12.90. I like the fish for its freshness but I prefer not to have it drenched with the sauce, rather having it as a dip instead.

Next came the Tagarashi Salmon – RM17.90. One get to savor grill roll salmon, mash potato ratatouille with mix lettuce served with curry cream sauce. A good combination but the texture of the salmon was a bit dry.

IMG_1000

Beef lovers get to enjoy this unique serving of Jacuzzi Beef – RM17.90 served in a hot plate in black pepper sauce with accompanying French fries.

IMG_0962

Very tender and enjoyable was the Lamb Cutlet RM22.90. It was served with mash potato, ratatouille, mix lettuce and mint yogurt sauce.

IMG_0997

For those who prefer chicken, you could always opt for the Teriyaki Chicken – RM15.90 with sauté potato, mix lettuce and teriyaki cream sauce.

IMG_0999

Kids and adults alike would like this one, the classic Chicken Chop in oriental sauce – RM10.90 which was served with French fries and mix lettuce.

IMG_0983

For those feeling carnivorous, go for the Ribeye Steak – RM17.90 served with sauté potato, mix lettuce and flavorful pepper mushroom sauce.

IMG_1003

Suitable for everyone on any day, the Roasted Chicken Drumstick in orange ginger sauce – RM15.90 comes with rosemary potato and mix lettuce.

IMG_0982

Last but not least, my particular favorite for the day was the Spice Lamb Leg – RM18.90. It’s quite a huge serving with rosemary potato, mix lettuce and pineapple JD sauce with the tangy sweet flavor.

Good to know there’s another option on our very lovely Gurney Drive! I can see they are very generous with two things – creamy dressing and shredded carrot!! :-D

wait, 550ml had a point there. almost EVERY single main had those julienned carrots as decor!
a little distracting, from the wonderful, natural colours of the meats.

plentiful of sandwiches, and gourmet burgers to keep the light(er) eaters on 7th heaven. :)

Normally they invite food blogger the food always is nice. After published by food blogger, reader go n try it but found food not as what you all mentioned.
My friend went there yesterday, she order chicken chop, chop served but inside still raw, end up they changed a new set for her. Credit card not accept, so they paid cash but the restaurant no small change. Well since the shop not accept credit card, is it they should prepare more small change.
Now a days Penang a lot new restaurant open, have to very careful can’t simply try it.

chris – sorry about the roasted chicken drumstick(as u said it was chicken chop). the meat is weel cooked but when we are runing food proses, it up its our mistake dint make sure that there’s no more blood water(?) inside it(as i just call up my chef and reconfirm the answer) . please accept my apologize! i will bring up a meeting later on and make out a new order for zero mistake! as now after ck’s promotion i think we should be having more and more real food lovers to our restaurant, that is a mistake that cant be accept by any one , me the most!
about credit card , we’ve been apply since before we start runing our restaurant. but yet untill today there’s no answer from MBF. as i’ve been checking up almost daily for these few weeks. should be having result before this month end.
after spoken to the person in charge , your bill’s amount was RM40.35 , as you paid RM50 for it. from the p.i.c , he cash back Rm10 nor paying you Rm9.65. as i ask him why , the answer from him was – he is feeling sorry about the food mistake and payment probleam(credit card) so he tried to make a more friendly way while cashing your bill. which who knows it end up in a diffrent way of effect to you. for once more i make an apologize for him. that isnt a proper way for cashing bills. he is cheating his own money just becos he felt sorry to you, that’s not a good way for casing bills. Sorry from the bottom of my heart. i dint train my staff well.
about the *food no taste at all* , that’s really a worst thing that can happen on the world. cant believe i’m so dumb enough to lay out so no taste food in my menu of my new opening restaurant, or in other way , cant believe my kitchen staff is dumb enough to do such horrible food to serve , or maybe he wants to quit his job so indeed so he dare to serve such food so he can get fire easly . i will look up to this probleam. once again , please have some faith in ck lam’s professional and our passion of serveing good food to penang.
such mistake will be held in every meeting of our following any actions.
truely sorry for christ and ck lam(you wrote out what you really felt bout our restaurant but end up we let ppl disapointed)…………..

stomach upset but not sure if it's the undercooked beef

i agree with chris’ comments, if you really wanna blog about food, you should do so by going there as a normal paying customer, not go to a food tasting arranged for food bloggers. if you actually pay for your food then you will know the value of the food served and also the service provided by the staff.

when we arrived at the place on a sunday night we were surprised to find the place with only 3 tables occupied. the restaurant that’s highly recommended by food bloggers all over is not even half full on a sunday night?? that’s really not a very good sign now is it?? our experience below is a good explanation why the place is not even half filled.

the service is really bad at this place. just imagine the waiter came to take our order without a notepad to write down what we ordered. if it’s only 2 of us then i would say it’s ok but there were 8 of us there. when the orders start to stack up then only did he went to get a notepad to jot everything down.

when they served us our food the waiters even forgot to bring the cutleries. are we supposed to eat with our bare hands?? when one of the waiters brought our food to us, we asked him what it was and he told us it was lamb “something”, but we didn’t order any lamb main course then a few awkward moments later, another waiter came to tell us it’s rib-eye steak. what kind of training did they provide their employees?? they don’t even know what they are serving.

one of us ordered the rib eye medium-well, on the outer portion it’s medium-well but eating towards the center it’s more like medium rare. i can’t believe the kind of food they are serving at this place.

to top it off they don’t accept credit cards. is this “restaurant” even ready to do business?? what if we didn’t bring enough cash?? we don’t care if MBF is not approving your application, that is the management’s problem, the patrons should not be the ones to suffer for these shortcomings. we only care about the cost, food and service. nothing else.

there’s only one positive comment we can give this place and it’s the food presentation. it’s like what is shown on the food blogs. even though the cost of the food is not high, but we are not willing to pay any amount for food of this quality. luckily for the management, this is not the F Word restaurant. or else we would only be paying for the drinks and some of the acceptable pastas.

our group of friends has already placed your restaurant in our banlist. we are also telling our other friends to avoid your establishment until we hear good things of your restaurant from other people but definitely not from food bloggers who were invited for free food tasting.

i believe there will be improvements in the future for 75celcius since there is such a LONG complain~ anyway i think there is no big deal on the bad services/food taste, as there are alot of places are like this too… if u r really unhappy about the restaurant then just don’t pay a second visit.. it’s not that good to criticize so so negatively and kind of affecting others not to visit it. think another way round, wat if, someone criticize very badly on ur businesses in public =) just hope for an improvement la..
