wow! CK you had a romatic dinner! sure full of romance . . . now I am seeing the softer side of you, so damn awesome! By the way food looks awesome too! Defintely a place to be!
Oh… you finally went and posted this. glad you enjoy the environment and the food there.
i love this kind of ambiance, but sure pocket will be burnt after the visit..pricey!!
Oh I went there before too, really not bad, but I still think Mansion 32 has better food. But Bagan has better environment.
And the soup DOES look oily! I think I wouldn’t have accepted that kind of soup from such a high class restaurant.
Big Boys Oven – Indeed a lovely place…like to revisit, maybe earlier in the evening when its not so dark, easier to take photos of the food.
superwilson – I agree on that…good for functions too.
New Kid On The Blog – It sure was a relaxing and enjoyable dinner.
SimpleGirl – You could visit this place for a celebration…
thenomadGourmand – The prices are ok to me considering the ambiance and attentive services plus live performance.
iamthewitch – Everything was perfect except for the oily soup. I did inform that about it, hopefully they will take note of that.
J2Kfm – It’s been around for many years and not many people have blogged about it. Indeed is a nice place for a quiet dinner.
xin – Prices are slightly on the higher end in such a place.
allie – Just trying to take photos in the place which is pretty dark. It could be better.
foodbin – That’s another way of seeing it.
email2me – You could allocate some of your time to visit this restaurant.
Sue – Do try it out…each outlet has their own food and presentation.
talking about celebration..how they actually deal with that?i mean like sort of playing bday song at the same time bringing out the cake??i am thinking to celebrate my gf bday there.
Hmmm the soup looks really out of place there, amidst the good looking cuts of meat. And no bread?? Blasphemy!
The place looks very cozy with its nice ambience and great food.
wow…. romantic dinners. ^-^ Well, this is one of the place I wanna visit and it’s in my makan list. The foods look great.
Sweet Jasmine – With soothing music too!
food-4tots – Even good for gatherings with friends too.
FoOd PaRaDiSe – Great place for a celebration.
taufulou – Maybe you could give this place a try again after all these years.
npm – Thanks for visiting my blog and glad you liked this place. You have a lovely blog too
Well they started as 64 in Midland OneStop. After that they opened 32. After 32 they opened Bagan. The food expensive because of the enviroment and nt because of the chef. Their chefs are just some ordinary people who graduated with a diploma in hospitality or culinary.
Hi CK,
I had been there for drinks but not meal.
What is the price for set dinner?
Hei CK,
Do You know that THIS RESTUARANT and BAR is DISTURBING PEOPLE LIVING AND STAYING THERE FOR SO MANY YEARS. THE LIVE BAND IS SO NOISE.
I HOPE YOU SLEEP WELL AT NIGHT.
Recently the place has become very pub-like at nite with loud speakers blasting away and most of the really nice staff has left. It’s just an opinion but I also feel that some of the staff are really annoying, arrogant and rather predatory. Some examples include standing by and pouring your wine glass to the brim everytime you take a sip so that they can push sales – as you’re aware you do not fill a wine glass to the brim like it’s beer or something. In fact, there was once I even overhead the staff commenting that they should ‘target the customer who like to show off’. Obviously it is a practical business strategy but how would customers like you and me feel? That we are all going there to ‘show off’ therefore we are their victims?I think the place has lost its charm over the years

Hi CK, I went to 32 Mansion today for dinner, the salad has HAIR in it! Very dissapointing despite of the “class” they claimed to have..
Not sure when will it open at new location?
