The Golden Sands Resort has recently appointed Executive Sous Chef, John Brock from New Zealand to head the resort’s new beach front restaurant which was formerly known as Sigi’s By The Sea. The new restaurant which has yet to be named is targeted for launching by the end of January 2010.

A group of bloggers and journalist were invited to a food tasting session of a three-course lunch at the Garden Cafe prepared specially by Chef John. He specializes in Western-style cuisines and these dishes will also be featured on the new restaurant’s menu.
