We were up early the next morning and hit the road to Semenggoh Wildlife Center, situated within the boundaries of the Semenggoh Nature Reserve. The caring center set up, in hope of caring for the wild animals is especially famous for its orang utan rehabilitation programme.

The visit to this center is indeed an experience. We get to see the orang utan, also known as the ‘Man of the Forest’ in the feeding platform. The feeding time is between 9am and 10am & between 3pm and 3.30pm daily.

It is exciting to hit the road again, this time on the Media FAM Trip to Kuching, Sarawak. The trip to the city of cats is organized by Sarawak Tourism Board in collaboration with Air Asia. Besides the orang utan and the different ethnic groups of Sarawak, there are other attractions, such as the many cat statues.

I have been eating my way around several Bangkok’s restaurants and many street food stalls during my recent Bangkok trip. One tantalizing meal was at Patara Fine Thai Cuisine situated in Soi Thonglor 19, away from the bustling Sukhumvit 55.The dinner was a welcoming experience, featuring several well crafted traditional dishes with authentic taste in contemporary new arrangements.

Like in all countries, Singapore also has many varieties of hawker food, adding to the comfortable hotel cuisines. You can find countless hawker food stalls located inside the shops, eating areas and food courts all over the city with reasonable prices and interesting food. The variety of food is actually amazing.

The gastronomic adventure had several of us visiting many parts of the city. We started with breakfast at Chin Mee Chin Coffee & Cake Shop, an old-school kopitiam located in an old shop house.
