Located in the Sunway township of Seberang Jaya, Abbey Road is a trendsetting Beatles-inspired bistro and restaurant. The restaurant concept of this family-owned outlet is derived from the restaurant’s owner Cheong Chee Seng love for The Beatles. The walls are adorned with posters of the group, and diners get to enjoy their music too.

Opened in April 2011, this restaurant which occupies the ground floor of a shop house, offers dining in a casual mode. The kitchen is managed by chef Samuel Cheong, who has worked in many overseas establishments and fine dining restaurants. The simple menu focuses on Western cuisine with modern plating.

If you are looking for a romantic place to celebrate that special day, nothing beats celebrating it at Sigi’s Bar and Grill in Shangri-La’s Golden Sands Resort. Executive Sous Chef John Brock, who helms the kitchen, recently created a romantic set dinner by candlelight for two.

The menu incorporates great food in a cozy private dining tent on the beach under the starry sky. The tent is shielded by sheer curtains for privacy and the intimate interior is softly candle-lit.

Now Penangites have a good reason to hit the beach with the opening of Sigi’s Bar & Grill On The Beach. This new beach front restaurant at Golden Sands Resort along Batu Feringgi went through a major makeover replacing the former Sigi’s By The Sea. It is set for a re-launch on the 10th of March 2010.

This stylish and casual new restaurant have many new changes, focusing on improving their customers expectations. It included choices of dining; in privacy in the private room, patio, air conditioned dining hall, or in the upper deck dining area with an excellent view of the beach front and sea.
