Located in Chow Thye Road away from the buzzing Burma Road is a new European style wine bar, aptly named That Little Wine Bar! I came to know of this quaint cozy wine bar when it opens in December 2009.

It was a pleasant surprise when my family was invited by the owner, Chef Tommes and his wife, Louise over for dinner. We were welcomed into the restaurant which expresses a sense of coziness with its decoration and low ambient lighting.

Euro Deli, a landmark brand which has been in our shores since 1991 had recently held a launching event at their Damansara Kim restaurant after undergoing some renovation. The outlet, now occupying two shoplots has a relaxed dining ambiance. On top of that, there is also a section selling its signature products such as sausages, cold cutlets and other products.

It was to my delight and honor that I was invited to the new menu launching event at 7atenine, the trendiest dining outlet located in Ascott Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. I personally feel that the ambiance and atmosphere creates a savvy and suave dining, with a trendy new outlooks coupled with the beautifully designed cuisines to meet everyone’s taste buds.

The event was graced by the presence of renowned celebrity Chef Emmanuel Stroobant. He has his own program, Chef In Black which is broadcasted on the Asian Food Channel (AFC).

Trams used to be a common sight in Penang in the earlier years. However they were later dismantled as cars and buses took over as a faster mode of transport. I personally find trams very intriguing and unique, as they bring a new dimension to the transportation system.
Recently there was a campaign to bring back the trams. More write-ups of it can be view at :
While we were holidaying in Melbourne, the tram was our means of transport. We find it very convenient. There were less traffic congestion and air pollution. We took the photo of this beautiful maroon antique tram and the colourful modern ones in the town centre.

As a Penang based blogger, we should try informing everyone and pass the word around about this campaign. Hopefully we get to see the tram service running again, coupled with a well planned bus network system in the near future. Georgetown would definitely be livelier with the presence of the trams.
Do share your views on this matter with me.
