There are only a couple of places in Penang where you can find tasty handmade Pan Mee (mee hoon kuih). I managed to scour affordable and tasty pan mee at I Mum Mum Restaurant which is located in the midst of the PDC flats in Pengkalan Weld, near the starting point of the Jelutong Expressway.

Terubong Seafood is one ‘chu char’ that is tucked away in a row of shop houses facing the very busy Jalan Paya Terubong. This place specializes in seafood and is popular among the neighborhood!

Straight to the good stuff! They commonly serve this small prawns deep fried as prawns fritters. It tasted good dipping it in chili sauce.

Dinner for the family during the weekend was deliciousness right from the sea in a seafood restaurant in Teluk Kumbar. The restaurant, Teluk Kumbar Seafood is located behind the closed down Yellow Bus Terminal on the left side of the road from Penang airport. I have always wanted to try the food at this place after seeing Little Inbox review some time back in January.

Do you like to know how does the editor of Rasa Malaysia looks like? A few of us bloggers got the privilege to meet up with this famous food blogger who was back in Penang for the holidays. We not only get to meet her but also dine with her at the Crab Village Restaurant which is just a stone throw away from the Floating Mosque in Tanjung Bungah. Thanks to Lingzie for arranging this meeting for us.

This restaurant has a sheltered open air seating area  and a fully air-conditioned dining hall. They offered a variety of fresh seafood selection. This first dish of kappa (clams) is fried with sweet and sour sauce, which is very appetizing and good for a starter.
