Held at E&O Hotel’s brand new Victory Annex, the event attended by wine connoisseurs, hospitality professionals and media started with the Master Class of 2010 vintages, followed by a Wine Dinner.

Il Bacaro Venetian Restaurant at Campbell House, Penang

The recently launched Campbell House in George Town is home to Il Bacaro Venetian Restaurant. This slice of classic Italian dining is within walking distance of Tho Yuen and Tai Tong Dim Sum House.

The restaurant serves its cuisine the Il Bacaro way, which is based on a traditional Venetian backstreet tavern. It’s where one can enjoy authentic Italian dishes served in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Wine For Asia 2010 Roadshow at Vintry, Jaya 33

Spanish palate!

My enthusiasm for learning about wine was given a boost when I was invited to a Marques de Caceres wine tasting event organized by Asiaeuro Wines & Spirits at Parkroyal Hotel Penang recently.

It offers an opportunity for any wine lover to taste in this fashion. In many ways this is a valuable way to educate the palate as well as to find out what’s going on further in-depth on this particular vintage.
