David Brown’s Restaurant & Tea Terrace @ Strawberry Hill, Penang

We had the David’s Brown Petit Fours – Afternoon Tea @ RM70 with Cameron Highland Boh Tea. The Afternoon Tea offer a pot of tea and a beautiful mahogany tiered-stand filled with fresh fruit tarts, sandwiches, fruit cake and English scones and fresh fruits.

They make their own delicious baked items of scones and pies.

The scone made with much butter is very soft on the inside. It comes with butter, homemade strawberry jam and preserve cream.

As for cold beverages, we chose the David Brown’s Fruit Punch @ RM15 and the Frozen Mango @ RM15.  Both of these drinks are equally enjoyed by us especially the Frozen Mango…it tasted so good.

What a fabulous afternoon it was of sipping, nibbling and enjoying the cool weather with beautiful views of the surrounding hills.

This pork-free restaurant offers more British cooking with its menu featuring Steak Kidney & Mushroom Pie, Oxtail Stew & Dumplings and Beef Willingtion and Roast Sirloin of Beef With Yorkshire Pudding.

For this coming New Year Eve, there will be a Special Buffet with free flow of wine and beer @ RM200 nett per person. Complimentary return transportation from Botanical Garden are included. There will be a Live Band performing for the night and diners can enjoyed the fabulous Georgetown Firework view from here.
