Christmas is a time to celebrate with friends, families and loved ones and what better way to celebrate the festival than in Eastin Hotel Penang.
Eastin Hotel Penang’s culinary team has prepared festive buffet lunch and dinner, and the setting of Swez Brasserie is where guests can enjoy a palate of Christmas pleasures. The spread features traditional carvery and festive favorites, besides fresh seafood as well as a range of indulgent desserts.
On Christmas eve, the chefs serve up the Christmas Buffet Dinner for RM128nett per adult (RM89nett for senior citizen). Little ones aged 6 to 11 years old get to enjoy a 50% discount off the normal price.
On Christmas day itself, guests will be able to enjoy the Christmas Buffet Lunch at RM88nett per adult (senior citizen at RM62nett). There will also be fun clown appearances.
As for the Christmas Day Buffet Dinner, guests can dine at RM128nett per adult (RM89nett for senior citizen). The buffet dinner starts from 7pm to 10pm while the buffet lunch is from 12 noon to 2.30pm.
Gracing the counter are comforting festive treats which include Yorkshire puddings with chestnut stuffing, roasted striploin, and roasted turkey. Accompanying the turkey is the creamy giblet sauce.

Warm dishes are primarily Western, although there are also the presence of assorted vegetables which comes with salted fish and nuts, stuffed squid with otak-otak and spicy peanut sauce, and wok-fried venison with ginger and spring onions.
Other warm dishes worthy of a mention are the lamb chop provencal with grilled vegetables, baked salmon fillet with herbs vinaigrette infused mushrooms, beef steak with tonkatsu sauce, potato and cheese timbale, and grilled chicken yakitori.

All the dishes are tempting but don’t go for seconds as you will want to leave your tummy space for dessert. Yule log cake, stollen, cookies, black forest cake, pudding with vanilla sauce, and carrot cake are some of the much-loved traditional Christmas treats.
The sweet treats are served alongside a platter of fruits including the papaya, strawberries, watermelon, grapes, dragonfruit and kiwifruit.
