JEN Penang Georgetown by Shangri-La delights its guests with its Sinar Ramadhan Buffet Dinner, with kampung style dishes and backed by friendly service. Held at Café Jen, the Ramadhan buka puasa feast is available from now till 21st April 2023 at reasonable prices of RM108 nett (adult) and RM54 nett for children from six to 12 years old.
Buffet is served between 7pm and 9.30pm
The buffet features a selection of starters and one could start with the quality dates, pickled fruits, and the variety of Ulam-Ulaman paired with different sambals. There is also a colorful spread of Kerabu. Over at the soup counter, help yourself to a comforting bowl of Bubur Lambuk which can be enjoyed with accompaniments of condiments and bread.
Next, head over to the hot dish section and explore further with the signature’s Curry Fish Head, Roast Lamb, Nasi Briyani, Lala Kam Heong, Daging Goreng Jintan Acheh, Ayam Masak Kicap Minang, Udang Panggang Bawang, Sayur Goreng Campur, and more.
After the mains, help yourself to the array of street food from the live cooking stations, featuring Hokkien Mee, Pasembur, Bubur Kacang, and Cendol. For sweet desserts, diners can indulge in choices that includes Western cakes, traditional kuih muih, jellies, puddings, and fresh fruits.
All can be enjoyed with the cold beverages served in a very retro container. There are several choices and clearly the most popular is the Ais Bandung.
