Located at Pantai Teluk Bayu in Teluk Kumbar, Bayan Lepas, Penang, the Muslim-owned Pak Tam Mee Udang seaside stall is the place for you to unwind with mouth-watering Malay-style prawn noodles.

Business is very brisk, and you will need to queue for a table and choose your dishes from the menu which offers varieties like Mee Kuah and Mee Goreng cooked with beehoon, mee, maggi mee or koay teow. As for the seafood, they have choices of prawns, flower crab and squid.

Try the Mee Kuah (RM35) prepared with prawns and flower crab. This speciality comes in a slightly spicy creamy tomato & potato-based broth with tremendous rich seafood flavor.

If you like a stir-fried version, go for the plate of Mee Goreng. As its name suggest, the noodles are fried with a spicy sweet gravy made from blended chilies, and tomatoes. A squeeze of lime completes the dish.
