Ramadan Buffet at Eastin Hotel Penang – “Eastin Ku – Kampung Ku”

Eastin Hotel Penang presents its “Eastin Ku – Kampung Ku” Ramadan Buffet for the coming Ramadan fasting month. The buffet dinner features an array of authentic traditional fasting favorites coupled with international favorites.
“The menu emphasised on lots of spices and long cooking time, and it is best showcased in both the gearbox soup and the roast whole lamb,” says sous chef Mohd Fauzi bin Alias. The gearbox soup is a dish of bone marrow soup, boiled for several hours, while the roast whole lamb marinated for three days is cooked for two hours.
The highlights of the buffet are the hawker stalls and action counters. The hawker stalls offer bubur lambuk, ice kacang, roast whole lamb, shawarma corner and gearbox soup.

At the action counters, choose from offerings such as mee rebus, and six types of panggang (grilled) seafood and meat.

Cold seafood spread
Buah kurma madu, traditional kuih muih, bubur kacang, fresh fruits, ice cream, along with a couple of cakes and pastries are offered to sweeten one’s palate.
To go along with the food, the spread also features beverages like the ais bandung, kopi tarik, teh tarik, mata kucing, soya milk with cincau, young coconut juice, coffee and tea.
Citibank card members as well as AEON members get to enjoy special discounts. Swez Brasserie offers a special price of RM88. Available daily from 6.30pm, the buffet promotion runs from June to July.
