Gin Library X Ostrea Oyster & Seafood Bar New Collaboration at Courtyard By Marriott Penang

Gin Library with sweeping views of the city is making itself the first and only distillery-themed bar in George Town, Penang. Perched on the 23rd floor of Courtyard By Marriott Penang on Jalan Macalister, the lounge with a relaxing atmosphere is a great spot for small hosted launches, tastings, celebrations, private events, wine dinners, and casual business appointment.

Recently, the bar recently held a media launch of its collaboration with Ostrea Oyster & Seafood Bar. The event had everyone enjoying handcrafted cocktails by resident mixologist Alif Z, and a selection of savory and sweet bites by Chef Jordon Chin.

The savory offerings boast choices like crab aracinni, smoked salmon baguette, salmon roe on charcoal corn, scallop cauliflower puree, anchovy toasted brioche, and more. Desserts were chocolate, and lemon meringue.

For those who fancy small plates and chef specials, the menu currently showcases signatures like mac & cheese, crab bisque, seafood baked portobello mushroom and beef brisket (available from 4pm). Other than the small plates, a couple of heavier choices such as truffle ravioli, and seafood risotto is available for dinner at 6pm.

Those who prefer to indulge in luxury items will find comfort in freshly chucked oysters and caviar.

Do well to plan ahead by booking yourself a spot at Gin Library. Daily business hours are from 4pm till midnight and they do the last call at 10.30pm.
