We were served with some cold refreshing beverages alongside the food. My personal favorite is the Azuki Smoothie, a combination of red bean, shiratama (Japanese dumpling) and vanilla ice-cream at RM11.80. It is creamy and fragrant with the red bean.
Bubbling Passion – Sparkling Passion fruit RM8.80

Mixed Agemono with Japanese Curry RM15.80 – The pot of light fragrant homemade Japanese curry was served warm over a burner, together with skewers of crispy fried breaded chicken, Japanese shitake mushroom, salmon and quail egg.

Live Baked Lobster Set RM129.80 – This set came with a wonderful selection of mouth watering Boston live lobster baked with salt, live seabass, chicken, squid & live oyster sashimi. Accompanying this dish is two bowls of rice, appetizer, assorted vegetables and miso soup. Reasonably priced indeed!
The baked lobster has the element of the salt infused in it. The meat was tasty, with fresh sweetness and saltiness.
The Sweet Romance Set at RM49.80 (2 pax) has a lovely combination of teppanyaki sukiyaki chicken, assorted tempura, salmon with teriyaki sauce, chicken, squid, half shell scallop & one mocktail. The set is accompanied with two bowls of rice and miso soup.

Besides the sets, we had the Omo Soft Shell Crab. The crepe with soft shell crab was topped with mayonnaise and Japanese sweet sauce together with fish floss. This dish is priced at RM7.80 (2pc). By the end of the photography session, the crispy crab has lost its crispiness but it was tasty nonetheless.
The Love Cheesecake and the Love Chocolate Fondue are desserts to finish the meal. The fondue with a combination of fresh strawberry, banana and green tea mocha comes with a decadent chocolate dip. The fondue is priced at RM19.80 and the Cheesecake at RM9.80.
Sakae Teppanyaki is an ideal dining place for everyone and even for group party too. They are currently having a Sushi Making Workshop @ RM40 per person in which they are offering a complimentary RM20 Dining voucher when you enroll for it. Classes are on every Tuesday and Saturday from 3pm till 5pm.
