Hilton Kuala Lumpur participates in the 10th successive MIGF 2010 with its three outlets – Senses, Iketeru and Chynna. All the three outlets will be serving a variety of Western and oriental flavors beginning 1st October to 31st October 2010.

This month-long festival period had the award-winning chefs from the three restaurants presenting innovative creations for the guests. Recently I had the pleasure of savoring the MIGF cuisines of Chynna.

The Gala Launch of the Malaysia International Gourmet Festival 2010 (MIGF) was held in the Grand Ballroom, Pyramid One of the Sunway Convention Centre recently. It was a privilege to participate in this gourmet celebration, which is now running for the 10th year!

Continuing with my Malaysia International Gourmet Festival 2009 food journey, I had the privilege to observe first hand preparation of dishes at Lai Po Heen. This award-winning Chinese restaurant at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur serves classic Cantonese cuisines, specializing in fresh traditional delicacies and contemporary dim sum assortments.
Besides Pacifica Restaurant, Lai Po Heen is also one of the participating restaurants under the MIGF 2009 which is running throughout the entire month of October.

This restaurant led by Executive Chinese Chef Bong Jun Choi has seven private rooms with eloquent Oriental design. The walls are adorned with artifacts, artwork and with beautiful chandeliers hanging from the ceiling.

Pacifica is a fine dining restaurant in the posh Mandarin Oriental Hotel Kuala Lumpur, located within the vicinity of the premier Kuala Lumpur City Centre. This restaurant is one of the participating hotels in the currently on-going extravagant MIGF – Malaysian International Gourmet Festival 2009 which runs until the end of October.
Although I have stayed in Mandarin Oriental several times, however this was my maiden visit to the spectacular Pacifica.
